Back to the Basics

A birthday layout, using the George Cartridge, it was the first cartridge I got because it came with my baby bug.  I cut the Birthday Blessings and the shadow blackout of the word.  I also cut the balloons and the brackets from the same cartridge.  I used Stampin' Up paper for all. And then some silver decorative trim to make the strings for the balloons.

You're My Cup of tea

You're my cup of tea.  All images made on the Imagine, including the blue pattern paper. Images were printed and cut at 2.5 inches, the blue paper was from a 12 x 12 sheet printed from the Imagine.  The red paper is from a scrap I had I embossed using the Tim Holtz checker board embossing folder.  I used some chocolate chip ink to ink the edges and parts of the red paper.

Cricut Circle Blog Challenge B.A.B.Y.

Here is my submission to this weeks Cricut Circle Blog Challenge.  I hope I am doing this correct, since this is my first time to submit to this blog.  The challenge was a B.A.B.Y (brad, aqua, butterfly, you) challenge.  Here is what I came up with.  This is about me in Costa Rica, it is very hard to come up with photos of yourself especially when you are the photographer in most cases.  I did have this one photo of me, my son grabbed my camera without my knowledge and took so many pictures of different things, and this one of me talking with friends.  I had to add more than just one photo so I picked out some other great photos of my trip.  Not only are my brads butterflies, but the bottom left picture is of a beautiful butterfly.  My aqua is in one of the butterflies as well as the paper (well at least I think it looks aqua).  My cuts are from Don Juan that is the title, and Cake Basics for the swirl on the bottom of the page.
I also should add I just started this blog so that I can do more challenges and post my crafting adventures, I hope you join me along the way.
